• Created the Map Maker tool, which empowers other journalists to easily make their own maps and download detailed vector layers
• Lead a team to collect, clean, analyze and map precinct election data from California’s 2016 general election; first time the Los Angeles Times published an election map of that detail.
• Lead innovative digital story telling on a number of stories that had impact: building near freeways, odds of winning the lottery, wild fire destruction and election coverage.
